Our pay is provided at prevailing rates for equivalent work in Metro Denver. We conduct regular salary studies to ensure we offer market based, competitive compensation. For industry specialized positions, regional and national data is used.

Metro offers a competitive retirement program that allows our employees to plan and save for their retirement.  Eligible employees participate in our Defined Contribution Retirement Plan with a 6 percent employer match. 

The vesting schedule for matching contributions is:

25% after 2 years of service

50% after 3 years of service

75% after 4 years of service

100% after 5 years of service

Note: A Year of Service is completion of a 12-month period of service.

Metro provides $300 for out-of-pocket costs associated with medical, dental, or vision care, or for immunizations. This may be prorated for new hires.

Pay for medical, dental and dependent expenses with pre-tax dollars.

  • Vacation that increases with length of service:
    Accrue 100 hours annually for 0 to 4 years
    Accrue 120 hours annually for 5 to 10 years
    Accrue 168 hours annually for 11+ years
  • Personal Leave Days – 24 hours per year
  • Dedicated Sick Leave – 8 hours accrued each month
  • Observed Holidays – 8 days per year
